sorry for the DISAPPEARING ACT, y’all.

while i was traveling through the vast woodlands of the smoky mountains, i understood why i wasn’t getting any AT&T signal for most of my travels.  however, i was a little irked.. okay, A LOT irked… that during ALMOST ALL of our trek down I-95 through the carolinas and on the quite civilized island of hilton head, there was barely any signal most of the time we were there.

i was completely flummoxed.

i drove around in circles on the island, searching for a morse code operator or somewhere i could send a telegram, but it was a lost cause.

my blog has lain dormant for quite some time.

is anyone still out there?  does anyone read this anymore?

for those of you still left:

the beach was awesome.  there was swimming.  there was jellyfish.  i ate seafood.  i rode bikes.

i’m home now and still trying to get my bearings straight.  i just got word that my travels are not quite over and i have a business trip for the latter half of the week.  more on that later.  fortunately, i’ve been to this city and can confirm AT&T has a signal there, so i won’t be carrying around a useless brick of an iphone like i have the past week.

just so you know i care, i read 65 pages of your tumblr entries and had to give up.  my eyes hurt.  you guys post a lot of pictures of good-looking people, landscapes, and antiques.
