weight loss update #3
okay, so … you might recall from a week ago that i posted about my frustrations with my weight loss progress and that i said you’d be hearing from me when i had good news to share. well, here’s the good news:
I LOST SIX DAMN LBS. LAST WEEK!
i finally buckled down, hit the gym as many times as i had intended, and had a full week free of off-the-wagon type behavior. it also helped that there were no huge food-related or drinking-related events. i had a lot of control over where i ate and what i ate, and that helped immensely in keeping my weight loss in check.
i celebrated today by eating hot wings. just a few, of course. and a big ass salad.
this makes 10 lbs. total lost since i started and i’ve got 12 more to go. just to put it into context, the last time i weighed this much was probably about a year ago. and the last time i weighed my goal weight was after my bike accident while my jaw was wired shut.
