OH MAN!

so much has happened.  a whirlwind of things.

after much debate/pondering/thinking/analyzing, i decided to buy a new car.  i went with a Honda CR-V.  i used this car buying service that my bank provides and i got a shockingly low price.  almost to the point where i thought there must be some kind of catch.  but it was real!

so anyway, i went to buy the car last weekend only to find that they didn’t have the color i wanted, but that it was arriving on a truck “sometime in the next two weeks”.  in a rather odd turn of events, i actually bought the car without it being there (weird - i know) and JUST YESTERDAY i got the call to go pick it up.

it worked out perfectly because the dealership is about an hour from my house and perfectly in between richmond and DC, where i had spent the weekend.  on the way home from an amazing DC weekend, i popped by the dealer, they handed me the keys, and i was on my way.  it was super easy.

so, i’ve owned the car for one day now.  i plan on getting home from work, sitting down and reading the entire owner’s manual, and just sitting inside the car and enjoying the new car smell while it lasts.
