so i’ve been trying to better my health in small ways here and there.  thanks to my recent grocery store trip, i’m going to be trying to eat better, but also trying to sleep more, exercise more often, and … drink more water!
i think that i live in a constant state of dehydration.  i’m not sure that i know what being hydrated even feels like.  i just don’t ever drink enough water.
what i DO always drink plenty of is DIET SODA.  i have at least 3-4 glasses a day.  obviously this is a bad thing.
rather than cut myself off from diet soda, which would be relatively impossible due to my craving for its caffeine, i’ve simply decided to create a rule for myself.
if i want to drink a soda, i have to drink an equal amount of water first.
i’ve done it for the past few days and i am totally consuming WAY more water than i have in months.  it’s awesome.  the only drawback so far?  i’m taking twice as many pee breaks.
hopefully all these little things will start to add up to create a healthier version of me.  or at the very least, a more hydrated version of me.
