man, when did life get so BUSY all of a sudden?  one minute i had nothing going on and now all of a sudden it’s crazy around here.

first off, i’ve been dabbling in another writing/blogging project or two that i’ll be talking about here soon.  not to mention, i’ve also been coordinating with the shmittenkitten folks for a REAL LIFE collaboration.  road trip to philly?  abso-fucking-lutely.  coming soon!

work has been a little nutso lately.  the holidays are a busy time of year, but there are also some outside forces conspiring to make it even more crazier than usual.  i’ve been working longer hours, but i have yet to hit the craziness levels of my previous job, so that is something to be thankful for.

outside of work, i’m happy to say that i’ve been keeping pretty busy with the record label.  i’ve been sitting with the final masters for SEAS for about a week now and they sound so fucking amazing.  the artwork is in its final stages and i should have everything ready to send off for production by the end of the week.  having never pressed vinyl before, i’m extra paranoid about all the paperwork and forms i have to fill out, wanting to make sure i get everything exactly right.  it’s a little nervewracking, but i think it’s all gonna work out just fine.

on top of all that, i feel like i’ve been out and about a lot more.  i tend to hibernate a bit during the week and i have not been doing that.  i blame this partially on foursquare, my newest internet obsession.

anyway, i promise more excitement soon.  in the meantime, watch that r. kelly video again.  it’s THAT good.
