to all my RVA friends and readers: next monday (8 days from today), marks the return of SEAS to richmond. those who have been reading along for a while now or have ever heard me talk about them, SEAS is the first and only artist on my little record label, decoration day recordings. SEAS makes my job incredibly easy because their music is very easy to promote - mainly because it’s REALLY fucking good. they’ve booked this show at stronghill, which is a really cool new restaurant/bar in town that hasn’t done a lot of shows before.  there’s no other acts on the bill, so the show itself won’t last longer than an hour.  on top of that it’s F-R-E-E.  i know for all my mid-20s friends who have a low tolerance for shows - this is like a dream come true.  SEAS will be playing a lot of songs off the new album that i’ll be releasing in january.  if you haven’t seen them live, it’s definitely a really awesome show. i know it’s a monday night, but come on out anyway.  you’ll be home before midnight and i personally guarantee a grand ol’ time. listen to SEAS here:  http://myspace.com/calmsofcapricorn
