last night we decided to do one of the things we’ve always talked about doing, but never actually did.  we borrowed a projector, went up on our rooftop deck, and hung up a white tablecloth for a screen.  then we invited all our friends over to play classic nintendo games, watch a movie, and enjoy the beautiful weather last night.  everyone brought over beers, blankets, and lawn chairs, and we watched “wet hot american summer”.  it could not have been a more perfect birthday activity.

halfway through the movie, i turned around to see all my friends, on my roof, with the beautiful richmond skyline in the background.  it made me really really happy.
