The Night I Proposed to Taylor Swift at Madison Square Garden

There are some of you who would say that proposing to Taylor Swift on the Jumbotron at Madison Square Garden is a little cheesy, but when you’re proposing to a famous girl, you gotta go big, ya know?  A few nights ago, I called my friend Bob who runs the Jumbotron screen at MSG.  We used to be old drinking buddies back in college, plus he owes me for the time I got him bailed out of jail back in ‘02.

Anyway, I recorded my marriage proposal, sent him the VHS tape, and he threw it up there on the big screen for her and all the audience to see.  As you can see, she was pretty shocked and amazed by the whole thing.  It’s a pretty impressive feat, I must say.

You can’t really hear what she says into the microphone, but it’s something along the lines of “Yes, of course I’ll marry you, I love you, blah blah blah..”

Anyway, I’ll be sending out invites for the wedding in a few months.  There will be an open bar and we’re renting a moon bounce as well.  The wedding will be held in Nashville, so start booking your travel plans.
