Ok, so i know that fried chicken kills, as put by Marshe, but I just have to say that I had some fried chicken and fries a couple of nights ago after leaving Godfreys, and it was delectable. This shit was moist, hot, and really well seasoned, and it was from the notorious chicken place on Broad near Belvidere. I got there and I noticed a f’ing bullet hole in the wall, lol. I didn’t care, the food was good, and so is the new management. So go there and get some, support our locals.

I love fried chicken as much as the next guy, and I also believe pretty strongly in supporting local businesses, but this restaurant is a total blight in our community.
I live within a block of this place and feel unsafe walking home sometimes because of the late-night crowd it brings to my neighborhood. It’s not uncommon to get heckled or yelled at as I walk by.
There are a lot of other restaurants in a 3-block radius that I can eat at without feeling like I’ll get a) heckled or b) shot that I’d much rather support - the newly opened Belvidere, Comfort, The Nile, Empire, Little Mexico, Aladdin’s, etc.
