i’m trying to mentally picture the weezer nintendo game that goes along with this amazing music.
you play the young musical hero, rivers, as he ventures across the dangerous kingdom of los angeles, armed with a guitar and pop melodies. you start in the blue level and get a ton of success points. then you take a warp zone to the pinkerton level, and the game gets way harder and your character gets panned by the critics. the pinkerton level takes several weeks to complete and you almost want to give up, but then suddenly you realize that the pinkerton levels are the BEST LEVELS and that your character is REALLY AMAZING. using your newfound powers, you warp to the green level, but then everything goes to shit. you play several other forgettable levels, but you never forget how awesome pinkerton was.
at the end of each level you reach the castle to find toad, who tells you “i’m sorry rivers, but this is not pinkerton”.
maybe you should have played as matt sharp.
