obligatory michael jackson blog post. (a day late) i talked with diana and mentioned that i was seeing all kinds of facebook hate for michael jackson and she said that she had NONE on hers.  which leads me to believe i may have lame facebook friends.  look, i love a joke as much as the next guy..  i even love wildly inappropriate jokes.  but some of the shit i read was just lame and not even that funny and really mean-spirited.  a dude died and i know you didn’t know him and i know he was TOTALLY fucking weird, but if you were to compile a 500 greatest songs of all time list, that dude’s written probably 15 of them.  his music will continue to impact how music is written and listened to for the next 200 years.  long after you are dead.  and when you die, no one will even give a shit, let alone make bad jokes about you.  so RESPECT!
