dear god, i realize we’ve had a little bit of a tumultuous relationship here on my 28 years on earth.  we got off to a great start in the mid-90s - youth group, church attendance, mission trips.  then the 2000s came and, well, let’s be honest, we just haven’t been as tight as we used to be. hey! don’t get me wrong man, i still BELIEVE in you and everything..  i just haven’t been attending the fan club meetings, and that’s my bad. so imagine my surprise this morning when i wake up to find that today i’m able to pre-order THE STATE dvd and get a free t-shirt.  the thing i have been waiting for since before DVD technology even existed.  the thing that has been haunting me for the past 14 years. well, clearly god, you are trying to send a message. thanks man.  i’ll see YOU at church on sunday.  or maybe not… i might be watching THE STATE DVD! love, phil
