inspired by my pal kenny, i headed over to the always-awesome (and fellow tumblrs) rumors boutique right here in richmond, va to sell some clothes.
my closet had been piling up with old pairs of jeans and cowboy shirts that no longer fit or i’ve fallen out of love with. noticing that i was running out of space, i had been meaning to head over there for weeks.
i’d been to rumors several times before to attend shows and browse, but never to sell anything, so i was happy to find it was a super painless and awesome experience. it took a grand total of five minutes and i walked away with about $60 bucks. NOT BAD!
i don’t consider myself to be a super fashionable person. in fact, i constantly struggle with finding clothes i like. i tend to wear a lot of the same thing. so i have to admit, i inwardly high-fived myself when casey bought ALL the clothes i brought and remarked that it’s very rare that she ever accepts everything someone brings in.
so, for all non-skinny big dude bearded cowboy-shirt wearing hipsters living in richmond, you should go to rumors and pick up some of my favorite shirts from the last four years. but only if you’re awesome… i’d hate my shirts to go to people that don’t continue my tradition of being a rad dude.
