tomorrow i turn 28.

this means that starting tomorrow, it will be significantly more sketchy to make out with 21-year-olds. not that it wasn’t sketchy at 27, i’m just saying it’s going to be even MORE sketchy.

however, it means it’s significantly LESS sketchy to make out with 35-year-olds.

helloooooo ladies!

last night i went to sticky rice for dinner with tanja and lloyd and a new dude i met named andre. what started out as dinner quickly turned into a hang sesh as a bunch of friends arrived and i was convinced to sing karaoke. i did one of my all-time favorites, “against all odds” by phil collins. i think it was a hit!

there was a girl who sang after me that got pretty much molested by a drunken cougar. this lady was trashed and decided that it was time for her to climb on stage and share the mic with a complete stranger. it was a complete nightmare. embarrassment transfer everywhere. but the girl handled it like a pro, i was impressed. i would have been like “bitch, this is a moment between myself, phil collins, and a room full of people eating sushi, you stay out of it.”

i made it home to bed around midnight, which kept me safe from the “tired at work” blues. not too bad for a tuesday night!

so this weekend is a mega big weekend. we’ve got a birthday party on friday, 90’s alt-rock night on saturday, and sunday i fly off to san diego and then dallas for a few days for work.

i haven’t traveled for work in years and i’m all nervous about it.

i need to IRON CLOTHES! gahhh!!
